Looking for housing...

We need to move this summer, so I spent the afternoon putting together this map, which shows (in the highlighted areas) where we are willing to live. (Click on the image for a 725KB full-size version.)

The main choices are basically:
1) Near Davis or Harvard Square
2) Near Tufts University
3) Near Central Square
4) Along bus routes 96 (green), 80 (blue), 94 (pink)
5) Along bus route 89 (orange).

Davis and Harvard Squares are the top choices, since they combine proximity to the Red Line along with buses which pass right by Miner (the Tufts philosophy building). Bus route 89 is not as convenient as the others, since it doesn't stop at Miner, and I'd have to walk from the bus stop at Teele Square.

Hopefully we'll be able to move in June or July.

Bad pun.

Mahatma Gandhi, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him.... A super callused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

I'm bored

Ten years ago a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem and no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-team.

Moving!

This is a bit late, but I discovered Flickr in February and it wasn't until now that I've gotten to uploading recent photos. We moved from Fort Worth in January. Packing and unpacking was a lot of work. We were able to get all our stuff (except our bed and our dresser) into the living room for the movers to pick up. Here are before and after pictures:
